Kirisuto Bushin Ryū Kenpo
A Christ-Centered Kenpo System Rooted in Purpose and Faith
About the System
Kirisuto Bushin Ryū Kenpo is a gospel-inspired martial art that blends tactical striking, spiritual redirection, and disciplined defense. Students are trained to walk in humility, act with mercy, and stand for truth. Every motion is shaped by scripture—transforming reaction into intentional response.
Name Meaning: キリスト武信流拳法
- キリスト (Kirisuto) — Christ, the anointed one and source of training
- 武 (Bu) — Warrior readiness, tempered by restraint
- 信 (Shin) — Faith and conviction in divine authority
- 流 (Ryū) — Flowing style and spiritual lineage
- 拳 (Ken) — Fist, symbol of disciplined power
- 法 (Po) — Method or law that guides motion
Kirisuto Bushin Ryū Kenpo declares: “A Christ-inspired Warrior System of Faith, Expressed Through the Method of the Fist.” More than combat—it’s purpose in motion.
System Identity
Grounded in Kenpo foundations, this discipline teaches body and spirit to move in harmony. Students learn to strike with clarity, shift with timing, and redirect conflict toward peace. The goal is not to conquer—but to protect and restore.
Redirection & Circular Motion
Central to this system is the principle of redirection. Circular motion helps practitioners to:
- Evade force with grace and timing
- Disrupt aggression without escalation
- Mirror spiritual posture—responding with mercy instead of retaliation
Movement becomes ministry. Footwork flows like prayer. Blocking becomes reconciliation.
Founder
Frederick P. Croniser is the founder and chief architect of Kirisuto Bushin Ryū Kenpo. A 3rd-degree black belt in Kenpo and Sandan in his own system, he trains defenders to move in mercy, confront injustice, and embody spiritual conviction through discipline. His work blends biblical truth with martial clarity—empowering disciples to stand as Watchmen in a fractured world.
“He trained my hands for war—not to destroy, but to defend.” — Sōke Frederick P. Croniser
